The debut issue of Superyacht Technology’s new digital magazine contains a feature on Kleven’s automated welding process which was developed by the Prodtex team. The article focuses on the use of automation for welding in the shipyard industry and describes how the advanced offline programming tools developed by Prodtex have allowed Kleven to automate one off production of components in a cost-effective way. This enables Kleven to keep this work in house in their facilities in Norway.
This work was produced using Delima within CATIA V5 for the offline programming and 3DEXPERIENCE for the manufacturing bill of material (MBOM).
